Care Clotrimazole cream is used to treat fungal infections such as athlete's foot, ringworm and fungal nappy rash. Other uses of Clotrimazole cream include the treatment of fungal skin infections (erythrasma and pityriasis).

  • The active substance is clotrimazole. Clotrimazole belongs to a group of medicines called imidazoles and is an antifungal agent which fights the cause of fungal skin infections.
  • When Clotrimazole is applied to the infected area of skin it works by destroying the fungus or yeast which has caused the infection.

Clotrimazole is a popular treatment as it can be used in adults and children for lots of different fungal infections and can be used alongside other treatments and medicines.
